"Herstory" is a term used to emphasize the importance of women's contributions and experiences throughout history, highlighting women's achievements and perspectives. The latter is often overlooked or marginalised in traditional historical narratives, which remain mostly dominated by men and male experiences and perspectives. Thus, creating a female narrative seeks to provide a more inclusive and gender-balanced perspective on the past, acknowledging the significant role that women have played in shaping societies and cultures.
